IVF

This has been a major breakthrough and boon for infertile couples. Ovary is stimulated to produce multiple eggs using hormonal injections. The eggs are removed by vaginal route (USG guided ovum pick-up) and their fertilization is done in the lab with washed sperms. Embryos are kept to grow in incubator and their development is monitored microscope. Day 3 or day 5 embryos are transferred inside uterus (USG guided) is done. Extra embryos can be frozen and used in the next frozen embryo transfer.
